Overview of available channels.

Excellent offers three main channels for exchanging product data with customer systems, providing flexibility and customization for different integration needs. Below is a detailed description of each solution.

1. rest API

  • Access to data through Rest API is secured by a login and password mechanism, which guarantees confidentiality and security.
  • Because of additional sensitive data - individual customer prices, discounts, and potentially real-time inventory - access requires authorization.
  • Ideal for customers who want to integrate their systems (ERP, CRM, e-commerce platforms) with our product database continuously and with access to the most up-to-date information.

2. baselinker

  • Integration with the Baselinker platform allows for easy exchange of basic product data, such as list prices, descriptions, images and inventory.
  • The data is synchronized once a day, ensuring that the basic information is up-to-date.
  • A convenient solution for Baselinker users managing Excellent offerings together with other sales channels.

3. CSV file

  • Export of data in Comma Separated Values (CSV) file format is available.
  • This format is a simple and universal way to import into most systems and spreadsheets.
  • The CSV file contains public product information (names, descriptions, codes, list prices), generated once a day.

It works well for one-time or recurring, manual downloading of data and importing it into custom tools.
